Wearing a bear claw choker Against warm earth skin, He walked the land With a stick that had eyes that could see in the dark, A stick from the Sacred Mountain Blessed by the River. Wearing wrap-around sunglasses Over bright sky clear eyes, He walked in blue jeans and t-shirt. Black hair shining wet, Combed fifties-style, Striped Serape on his shoulder, Moccasins on his feet, He danced and Told stories to the children.
